Account Director
We’re looking for an Account Director who stands above the rest!
You will know you’re the one because you’re a strategic thinker with strong communication and presentation skills. You have an uncanny knack for multitasking and do it incredibly well because you’re so organized and have great time-management skills. Your entrepreneurial spirit is complemented by creating and maintaining solid and strong relationships. Topping it all off, you are a mentor and strive to develop your team members. Ideally you’ve worked agency-side Foodservice BUT if you haven’t and you’re simply a foodie who has a passion for all things food-related then you might just be the one!
Here is a more detailed description of what your focus will be and what you excel at:
Profitability:
- – Achieve fiscal targets on existing client base and actively pursue new business opportunities.
Budget Management:
- – Supervise the team to ensure that budgets are approved; both client and internal procedures are known and followed.
- – Participate in weekly budget-review meetings to ensure work is on-budget.
- – Ensure that all client-based processes and forms are followed/used.
Leadership / Management:
- – Responsible for performance of your respective team members.
- – Oversee project initiation and secure business by winning competitive pitches and/or managing projects with EXCELLENCE.
- – Proactively manage workload of team members and allocate resources based on business demands.
- – Provide mentoring / coaching to your team members to strengthen skill levels and identify developmental needs.
- – Provide added value to projects via strategic thinking, cost savings, contra, etc.
- – Set a positive tone and demonstrate leadership to everyone internally and externally.
Strategic Leadership:
- – Demonstrate ongoing strategic-thought leadership with existing client base to build their brands.
- – Focus on strategic account development, new promotional ideas, and building business with existing and new accounts.
- – Solicit input, as appropriate with the company President/CEO, VP Strategic Development and others, as appropriate.
- – Develop strategic business plans for each existing account.
- – Attend weekly/monthly internal seminars and supplier meetings to ensure that all marketing/marketplace knowledge is current.
Relationship Building:
- – Foster and develop ongoing client relationships.
New Business Development:
- – Generate incremental revenue via new business.
- – Proactively work with accounts and develop new ideas which demonstrate pro-active thinking and added value.
- – Attend and actively participate in new business development including contacting clients and participating in business pitches.
IDEAL SKILL SET:
- – In-depth knowledge of the Foodservice and/or CPG industries is an asset.
- – In-depth knowledge of both the National and Regional Distribution models including all respective stakeholders (Distributor Reps – inside and street, Sales, Manufacturer, Operator).
- – Ability to work with manufacturers to deliver operator and distributor programs for both Chain and Independent Operators on both a National and Regional level.
- – Experience in developing and delivering sales incentive programs, including meetings and video on both National and Regional levels to build awareness and training on programs.
- – General understanding of trade media publications, media planning and the booking process.
- – Ability to provide leadership and strategic thinking on the challenges that face Foodservice Operators and Distributors in today’s social and economic times.

Digital Project Manager
Quadrant Marketing is looking for an experienced tech-loving project manager to help manage the growth of our digital practice. If you love all things digital, from social media, to contests, to mobile, this is the job for you.
The Digital Project Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of digital marketing, social media and mobile projects for assigned client accounts and for supporting the Digital Marketing and Account Teams.
This includes:
- – Providing technical insight during the development of strategic interactive marketing plans and tactics.
- – Defining the vision and scope of interactive projects in conjunction with the Digital Marketing, Creative and Account teams, and clients.
- – Interfacing with external vendors (where needed) to refine client expectations into a defined scope and budget.
- – Creating project timelines, determining key milestones and managing all stakeholders to ensure project delivery on-time and on budget.
- – Meeting weekly with digital and account teams, production manager, production/creative director and vendors to coordinate agency efforts on behalf of assigned clients/accounts.
- – Writing client and vendor contact reports for project status meetings and distributing them to appropriate agency personnel.
- – Capturing and assessing client changes to determine if they require a change in scope for the project, relaying to appropriate agency personnel and vendors and producing updated budget and time estimates when required.
- – Checking and pre-approving digital creative, copy, wireframes, production art and other interactive materials, and coordinating client approval of same.
- – Acquiring client approvals for project estimates and scope changes.
- – Tracking and reporting on budget margins and variances.
- – Delivering the highest quality of projects for clients of all sizes on-time and on-budget.
- – Keeping apprised of clients’ products/services/marketing developments.
- – Participating in the education of clients and agency personnel on digital marketing best practices and trends.
This position reports to the Director of Digital Marketing.

We work for large consumer packaged goods companies to deliver outstanding communication programs. We are seeking a passionate candidate with Marketing Agency experience who can provide our team with smart thinking, passion, energy and outstanding support.
The ideal candidate will be:
- – Experienced with 1–3 years digital marketing experience, ideally in a marketing agency setting.
- – Thoughtful and extremely organized in the management of digital production resources and assets.
- – Fluent with the use of project management tools and methodologies.
- – Familiar with digital project asset management and quality control.
- – Experienced in preparing: client proposals, estimates, invoices, planning documents, status reports, efficiency reports and project post mortems.
- – Very knowledgeable in the area of online advertising, marketing, social media, website content management and email marketing.
- – A leader with strong interpersonal and listening skills and strong presentation skills.
- – An excellent communicator with effective and persuasive written- and oral-communications skills.
- – A wealth of knowledge on all things digital with experience and/or working knowledge of HTML, .Net, CSS, JavaScript, Flash, ASP, web browsers, news readers, email programs, social media, and content management systems. Direct experience with Sharepoint is a plus.
- – Current on the technology needed to expedite client review and approval of interactive projects and programs.
- – Organized, with organization- and time-management skills.
Above all else, candidates for this position will love digital marketing, have strong project management skills and will have a great attitude. You don’t have to know everything about digital as long as you are willing to learn. Love of dogs is also a plus.

Intermediate Print Production Manager
Do you have a minimum of three years’ Print Production experience in Advertising/Marketing & Communications? We are looking for a resourceful, self-motivated, process-driven, detail-orientated individual with a strong ability to multi-task and has a broad knowledge of all print processes. Are you a problem-solver with the ability to ensure timely deliveries within budget? Expertise should include comprehension in all forms of traditional/non-traditional communication including DM, BTB, trade/consumer publications, trade events, promotions, OOH, P.O.S., signage, displays, collateral and value-added premiums.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
– Report to Director, Production Services
– Management of the project timeline along with the Account Team
– Develop print and finishing specifications, and undertake thorough investigation of options
– Follow up with suppliers to ensure they are on track and meeting budget/timing commitments
– Coordinate production flow until materials are at the final destination. This includes printing, finishing, lettershop, kitting, shipping, etc.
– Review and approve (with Account Team and Creative) prepress proofs. Once approved, manage artwork release to printer
– Coordinate with media sources to obtain technical requirements, artwork due dates, extensions where necessary and upload information
– Source premiums and coordinate purchase and artwork requirements
– Coordinate and/or purchase original and stock photography/illustrations and model release clearances
– Participate in daily/weekly status meetings with all team members
– Prepare Final Prep Form for artwork release to vendors
– Develop and maintain accurate budgets for all projects with AE using proprietary computer system
– Develop Request for Quotes (RFQ)
– Initiate program quotes with outside suppliers
– Create and issue P.O.s for all external costs prior to the supplier commencing production.
– Review supplier invoices to ensure they match the P.O. and approve
– Issue final budgets and client draft invoices after reconciliation with Account Management Team
