Don Gilroy

Don started his post-secondary education studying Aerospace Engineering, but he soon realized that he preferred the color of the real world to the black and white of science, so he took a job at the production art desk of a major retail advertising agency.

Don became fascinated by the subtle yet complex relationship between art and communication. So he accepted advertising into his life. That was over 25 years ago. Since then Don has been producing and directing award-winning creative for many of Canada’s leading retail and national brands. Most of his career has been spent in Brand Activation, Direct Marketing and Retail Communications.

Since joining Quadrant as Creative Director, Don has preached a strategic approach to creative development. He mentors his creative team using a simple but effective approach to creating great work – get the strategy right; get the message right; and make it clear.
