
…Foodservice operators are resistant to fully-cooked meat products because of quality concerns. One taste of a Cardinal Kettle Cooked product and they are converted. To engage this reluctant customer, we developed an ad campaign that leveraged appetite appeal to tell the Cardinal story. Paired with a sales force sampling initiative Cardinal was successful in changing the perceptions of operators across the country.
Then we built awareness through National advertising in magazines and online as well as a Trade Show booth at the annual CRFA show.
